What We Do

- Monthly Happy Hour – We offer a casual and friendly environment for everyone to come together and catch up with old friends, meet future collaborators, and get an escape from the day-to-day grind. This event is open to the whole group and is one you don’t want to miss!
- Small Groups – In order to make connecting more convenient and intimate, we have cultivated designated small groups that meet for a monthly lunch, breakfast or activity.
- Lunch and Learns – Where our Lunch and Learns do not offer consistency in a monthly schedule, they do offer substance that is applicable to all. We interview speakers to make sure their topics are forward thinking, inspiring, and beneficial to our members. Keep an eye on our calendar for the next Lunch and Learn event!
Our Story

As women in 2020, we find ourselves often wearing all hats both personally and professionally. It is more important than ever to have a strong network of other like-minded women.
Lisa Clapper, Financial Advisor at Raymond James, and Casey Lawhead, SVP Private Banker at Independent Bank, are both very active in their careers, with their families and friends, and in the non-profit world. With a talent for developing relationships and helping to connect others, they decided to create a platform for other women to come together on a regular basis as collaborators and change-makers.
Lisa and Casey were random connections on LinkedIn who later met over lunch to discuss business referral opportunities. It was discovered that both ladies had separate networking groups that were very similar in purpose and programming. After several years of what became a beautiful friendship, Lisa and Casey decided to join both groups in following the motto that two is better than one.
LINK901 is a group that continues to strive to help other women learn from each other, inspire each other, network together, and share knowledge. Lisa and Casey constantly are working behind the scenes to make sure the group continues to grow and improve.
Giving Back

As a group, we decided to add philanthropy as an element of our group. Through an extensive process of workshops with Dr. Sarah Petschonek, CEO of Volunteer Odyssey and Caroline Kuebler, Director of Development for the Community Foundation of a Greater Memphis, small group discussions, and surveys, we worked hard to define values as a group -women, children, and mentorship, and identify an organization that matched these values and made a local impact.
We have selected The Dorothy Day House, dorothydaymemphis.org, as our partner for philanthropy. Dorothy Day House is comprised of a few nondescript houses in Memphis that provides temporary housing allowing homeless families to stay together in a safe environment. To learn more about the organization or how you can help, please visit their website.
Through our partnership with Dorothy Day House, we have had the opportunity of sharing meals that we provide with families, donating needed personal items and furniture, sponsoring family and holiday parties, and hosting a baby shower for an expecting mother. We thank our members for their time and membership fees that allow us to donate to this inspiring organization. We are all excited about getting more involved and serving the women and children that we meet through mentorship, our three core values.
